Wisteria for restaurants & cafés

Every outlet. Same standard. First shift.

Menus change monthly. Crews change quarterly. Wisteria puts the new prep steps, the allergens and the upsell line on every barista’s phone before they clock in.

Common challenges

Common challenges in F&B.

Quick-service turnover can run past 100% a year — so you train the same things over and over, and it still doesn’t reach everyone.

Food handler training is mandatory under Malaysia’s Food Hygiene Regulations — non-compliance risks fines or closure.Ministry of Health Malaysia

01High turnoverPart-timers, students, weekend staff — most without a company email address.
02The menu keeps changingHQ knows on Monday. Outlet 6 finds out on Thursday.
03Every outlet does it differentlySame drink, three versions, depending on who trained who.
04Food safety is not optionalEvery handler needs current training before they touch food.

What happens if you don’t solve it

The gap shows up in the till.

A barista who doesn’t know the new item doesn’t push it. A crew that never saw the allergen update guesses. And the manager who should be running the floor spends the week chasing people to read a memo.

01Promos underperform

You paid for the campaign. Half the floor can’t explain the offer.

02Customers get three different answers

Inconsistency is what makes a chain feel like a franchise gone wrong.

03New hires take weeks to be useful

They learn by watching whoever is on shift — including their bad habits.

04One hygiene lapse is a closure

Not a warning. A closure order, and a photo of your outlet in the news.

Questions, answered.

Does Wisteria replace the MOH food handler course?

No. That certificate comes only from an MOH-approved training school. Wisteria handles everything around it — refreshers between certifications, your own SOPs, and a record of who has completed what.

Our part-timers don’t have company email. Can they use it?

Yes. They sign in with their phone number. No corporate email, no app store account, nothing to provision.

Can different outlets get different content?

Yes. Scope by outlet, region or role — the central kitchen gets prep SOPs, the front counter gets service scripts.

We’ll build it into a module and show you what it looks like on your team’s phones.
